Solar power systems
The latest initiative by Syntrex is to provide domestic, industrial and commercial systems within Sri Lanka.
Domestic Solar Systems
The residential solar systems which range from 5KW to 20KW, is provided based on customers requirement. The advantage of this service is that the Ceylon Electricity board (CEB) provides single phase and three phase connections upon request.
Industrial Solar Systems
These systems are installed, where large equipment is used, mostly for manufacturing organzations. The capacity of these systems pre dominantly hinge on the availability of transformer capacity of the factory. Generally, it ranges from 100KVA to 1000KVA.
Commercial Solar Systems (Solar Farms)
These are notable from standard commercial solar installations in their size, location and purpose. Solar farms are generally measured by the megawatt-scale (as opposed to kilowatt-scale), is ground-mounted , and is built to sell energy into the grid or to a designated purchaser – usually heavy energy user or electricity retailer.
